Anyway, talk about relaxing today. While I having SMO Zhe Wei and his parents go zoo wtf. Must be quite fun lol some time since I went I wonder if I see
Sian come to think of it I might be quite scared of this camp. Cos Part Bs liao. And enduring 4 days. Quite hard, but I will do it.
Anyway if you got anything urgent sms me lol, though I don't think I got important matters until must sms me xD
Lol I hope this solonite will be fruitful and I won't back out last minute. One of the things that trains your mentality. Very important and useful lol. I remember last time go Drama Centre 2nd level, the most not scary place, even trees can be seen wobbling lol. But after that got scouts nvm.

Camp

2 more days. 2 more days to Hwa Chong Institution National Cadet Corps Annual June Camp 2008. Ok la I missed it last year, so this one's going to be meaningful and probably scary(after the previous one and that now we're Part Bs).
I remember Senior Jian Rui and SSG say before, every camp sure change you one. Whether is Change you Believe in or what sure change. You become mentally stronger, physically stronger. The challenge is not to see whether you survive bunk check, see if you survive pt, see whether who wake up early or what. It's to see if you can endure through the camp without reporting sick. Endure a camp(like no other).
And this camp got 6 activities, of which one is the longest and same day as solonite. Jiayou for solonite lol. Speaking of which, I think as Part B time to choose scarier place liao don't want waste my solonites sia.
And till now I havent got everything packed yet =x
Oh yea, forgot to talk about my msg: 3.5
Its very bad for most people lah, but for me its more a relief. This term very bad, in fact I got 2 A1, 1A2, 2B3, 2C5, 1E8. The C5s and E8 are really the ones pulling me down, so need work harder.
Sian got lots of homework. But still can finish and leave some time to brush up on Humanities. Can't afford to gg sia next time double weightage.

-Saturday, May 24, 2008-
Last Wednesday was last rehearsal in school for tomorrow's RSAF. Okay quite good. We did performance a few times and good ones. I never make memory mistake lol yay, but not so much for my individual drills.
Thursday we went Paya Lebar Airbase, rehearsed twice without music. Still quite good la, we were all quite co-ordinated. But after that got thunderstorm so cannot get practise further.
Yesterday was 23rd May, and a very important date sia. I learnt a lot yesterday. Got imt, and still quite okay we did relatively better than other schools and than our Part A, then come back and from then on the part.
The debrief by SSG was good . Crossing the line, I wonder if I already did. Its some time for me to reflect as well, especially since performers interact with part Cs so much, easy cross line de.
Then.
We got scolded by the NCOs cos we kept OUR bunk messy. And they gave us a lesson, about OUR bunk. Our mistakes totalled to 400 pumpings but they knew all of us could not take it, so ended up we pumped 10 only. I remember SSG ask what we want do, and I said pumping, but after that I realised if it was really useful. I mean, if we don't say pumping, can we say anything else. It has become more of just a mere word than a meaning, for some not all, cos I'm sure some people do learn.
What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger
It's something good la, that after so long, this is one good time to distinguish NCOs and us cadets, and how much we still dunno, how much we are still not good at, how much we neglected our bunk. We have been talking about everything except OUR bunk... which is seriously something we totally ignored. So much for my MSN, a month to prove we are Part Bs. Are we even that standard yet?
A legacy to remain.
We going to be most senior training part liao. HCINCC standard will fall on us. If we continue to drop our standard AND MATURITY, HCINCC's standards won't fall on us, it'll fail on us. Our reputation has been built by previous batches painstakingly, we cannot spoil it sia. It's our duty, our commitment, and whether we still have passion for NCC or not, we still must do it. Of course doing it with a passion is always better.
But the main thing is to learn and change. So good we ask Louis make duty roster lol and from now on we're going to keep OUR bunk clean.
Then at Poolside I realised that the person in our part with the greatest maturity is Qin Jiang. Won't go into details though.
Tomorrow RSAF. Jiayou, we put in so much effort le:)

Back in Primary Six,

MPH: Is it cos of the facilities? Or good education system or anything?
Me: Oh, err, I joined HCI because of the facilities, and my father and grandfather were in Chinese High, and also because it has a good education system.
MPH: Oh okay. Erm do you have any idea what CCA do you want to join when you come to HCI?
Me: Chinese Chess. Because I always play chinese chess with my sister at home, and have picked up some strategies along the way, so going into chinese chess will help enhance my skills.
MPH: Oh okay. Tell me about one of your favourite books.

Me: Erm I'm not quite interested in books, I read more of newspapers (O.O)

Anyway, one of the other applicants was KaiCong lol, his answers all dam imba de, I was dam scared never get in.

During Secondary One choose EP3, I very happy very happy put in these choices.

2nd: NCC
3rd:Table Tennis

5th:Badminton
6th:English Debate
It's very lucky that I never get into softball, cos go softball nothing much to learn de lol.
And all 6 of my choices none got chinese chess. Lol chinese chess play what? Whole day own your opponent also no use de .
And so I got into NCC, and from then on my life changed.
Really la, become physically stronger and mentally stronger.
Till now.
This was the thing I least expected I would get when I joined HCI. Anyway zai facilities is one thing, study well is another, so yeah.
I wonder what I'll leave HCI (High School)in two years with. Hopefully not demerit points lol, memories bah.

Thanks to Yan Perng's zai complaint that people cannot see that I wrote Part'B are the navigations, I added it as a pop up, though it was quite obvious since the first thing you see other than the pop-up is that, and in a black screen what else can be the navigators.

After that went to play table tennis with Ting Kai . HE KEPT SAYING I TOO NOOB FOR HIM LIAO. He gave me too many chances liao ended up I won him 3 sets to 2 sets-- 11-9, 8-11, 10-12, 26-24, 10-12. Something along that line. The second last set is we keep deuce like siao then 10-Ting Kai own and beat me. He pro lar, tyco beat him xD
Lol then we went Poolside, ate lunch and I went home.
Wait for bus halfway Ting Kai random. Say he saw SM Goh's car passing by with him inside o.o nvm.
8 more days to RSAF. No wonder today feels so heavy and I slept 2 hours straight for nap. Nvm lame joke.

Sabaticcal-2nd last Day
This sabaticcal has been very meaningful to me.
I found out Jun Wei was spiderboey and
I also found out Zhong Hui is addicted to the pokemon game in his phone thanks to Caleb.
And I found out that you grow best when you sleep at 10++pm. Secret to Andre's height.
Lastly
Like whether fruit flies have recessive genes or dominant genes.
And how genes can be found in a second generation and not in the first.
Nvm I can go on for hours lol. K nvm minutes. But it's really a fun sabaticcal lol. Guan Koi got from Boys to Chefs and his place is staff lounge, and they get to go out on food trail today and there's some science ace somewhere wth so pro.
Next time dun call him boiboi call him chefchef.

After school I went for iCouncil meeting. Won't talk about details lol.
Then Zhong Hui, Tiet Ho, Guan Koi and I went to watch The Pianist. A bit late but at least we understood some parts. And it was dam sad when the Jew survived but not the Captain who saved the Jew for the sake of music.
Then come home and tried to play Cabal but can't even download-.-
Ended up playing 5 games of minesweeper flags with Yuan Wei and beat him 4-1.

Today is Record-Breaking Day. No, not 3 legged racing, nor me being owned in soccer at IS court the most number of times. It was breaking our maximum pumping. I think today many of us broke our record. Imba.

Maybe Ting Kai did 111.1, then his surname so x 10. Nvm that was lame. Ting Kai did 1111 in less than an hour. Wth imba lar, pro.

And as I have said, after that we went IS Court, but I dowan talk about it cos I got owned everytime. Eventually we went canteen to play lol, more fun cos all Part Mates xD

Apparently we have 60% of our genes similar to Fruit Flies. So next time when you peel open a banana and mash it slightly, if fruit flies come you dun kpkb and zham the flies cos after all they are your siblings. Besides your 29 brothers in ncc and your own siblings, you will soon realise you got thousands more brothers around the world and they are being sold around.

After sabaticcal at SRC some of us went JC Canteen eat, and then went SOC. SOC then I go JC Court assistant referee iLeague 2M vs-1O score was 5-1. At least they scored 1 yeah not bad:)
Yesterday: First Namly Run Without Map
After that some of us wanted to run Namly. Therefore Yong Xiang, Guan Koi, Maung Thet, Zhong Hui, Ting Kai and me went to run Namly. Run here run there a bit lost here then end up we got out. First time without a map. Imba heh.
Then go Serene Centre Macdonalds eat a bit then go back. And Maung Thet got random idea ask me if want go back through another way.
Maybe I didn't hear clearly or what I thought by the other HCJC Entrance so I said ok. End up it was Namly. And we NEVER ran back to Salt Centre from the other side of Namly before.
So we got lost-.-
I was dam scared la, everywhere we go,
Curiosity kills chinyee sia. But I got nine lives so no need worry xD
Today we taught Part As muster parade. According to all of them Yong Xiang, Louis and I were very boring, and I must admit: Many would do better than me. From the start I had the perception they were Part As, so we had to bring things across more interestingly like Part C seniors did, or they wouldn't listen. Within minutes I forgot that and I was droning, and Tan Yang even said that was dam sian talk, which i agree.
Eventually we got some things across, some Part As do learn quite fast, hopefully the rest will catch up. We might have to meet them another time or what, the Camp must go on, the activities must go on, muster parade must NOT go on forever, and all this lies in the responsibility of Part B'08 for this June Camp. Camp may belong to RSM, but to make sure it is successful, indirectly its our job.

Anyway, some reflection on Zhong Hui's MSN nick: Pissed with my self-deteoriation.
I do not agree with the statement by Lim Zhong Hui that he is "pissed with my[his] self-deteoriation" to a certain extent. However, there are factors to be considered, such as his drill standards ,his standards based on witnesses and his words.
The first point would be Zhong Hui's standards. Ever since last year, Zhong Hui has been one of the best in Part B'08, and his drill standards are always at peak, if not almost at peak. His PDS drills, though not perfect, is one of the best in our part as well, and to say that he is deteoriating is 一派胡言！Furthermore, based on my Contextual Knowledge, Zhong Hui's nickname (given By Chin Yee) is Imba Mugger, and the word Imba could not have popped out of nowhere. This must be due to his good standards and thus Zhong Hui is not deteoriating.
My Second Point would be that in the eyes of his other 29 Part Mates, he is not that bad. Though he may not be the best, but he is one of the best, be it based on maturity, drill standards,
The last point would be his own words. Zhong Hui once said before that he can never get angry with a person for long, and he is true to his words. Through this simple point, I can say that Zhong Hui keeps to his words, most of the time, if not all.
Based on these 3 factors, I can say that Zhong Hui is not deteoriating.

Sometime since I posted, so back. Anyway I dunno I lag or what, but its only today I realised that Sundays shouldn't really be called Sundays at all. It's hot but there's no Sun-.- Rather Mondays to Fridays should be called Sundays literally, while Saturday and Sunday called
Last Friday, One of the Last Normal Training.
Last Friday, Full Attendance for 2nd time consecutively finally.
Last Friday, Profi Test. There were good sides and bad sides to it actually, good is that all 29 of us are getting the Profi Badge, which is something I think overrules all the bad stuff. But, not sure if its good or bad, the Sir from my section was dam lenient, and I got 46/50, which I felt was too much(Although I rated overall performance 78/100, which is 39/50). The other section-- some of them were indeed better, but unfortunately, or fortunately in this case, their sir was stricter so it was a better gauge of their standards. Hopefully non of the 10 of us will get complacent over a score which rightfully should not be ours.
Then it was IMT training. This time it's splited into deliberate and snapshot targets.
1st round: Zeroing
2nd round: Deliberate 4 rounds w/ sandbag
3rd round: Snapshot 6 rounds w/ sandbag( Left, Leftnright, Right, Rightnleft)
4th round: Deliberate 4 rounds w/o sandbag
5th round: Snapshot 6 rounds w/o sandbag
Total= 4 + 6 + 4 + 6 = 20 points.
10/20= pass.
16/20= marksman.
Good luck to all hope we get marksman.
And this year's IMT is indeed harder than Part As'. If you IA gg. And I screwed Part A IMT, but nvm must look forward into the future.
Then it was PT. Almost all could cross SOC. Some could not. Not to say anything, but if you need help can ask any of us, we'd confirm help you.
Pull Ups. 186 and broke our record by 36. I did none. And it was so long already wth... But Zhong Hui's brother was there and can see he quite proud of him lol.
Then after that I left early for some relative wedding dinner, got:

Only this time literally.
Its quite sad lah. But nvm let's talk about whatever that has happened recently. If I'm not wrong I havent blog since Tuesday, sekali I post about Tuesday twice lol and i'm lazy to check if i already posted=x
Tuesday: First Self Training Of Part B'08 in No. 4
Only 18 people came, but nvm cannot expect all to come since its volunteer de. Drills were okay, and that was the second last training Sgt Jun Kai was taking us, as well as the 3rd last by our Part B Training Team. Its quite sad that, after one year, our NCOs are going to ORD lah, but at the same I think its good because there'll be a new batch of NCOs to carry HCINCC to greater heights.
Wednesday: PDS Training
Finally, all 29 of us came for one training. Zhi Wei, Qin Jiang, Maung Thet, Ivan, Tian Wen, Zhong Hui, Zhong Hao, Louis, Yong Xiang, Xue Quan, Xin Ren, Zhe Wei, Jia Jun, Guan Koi, Jun Wei, Shawn Lim, Shaun Lee, Ying Da, Xin Chuan, Solomon, Kenneth, Jian Sheng, Tiet Ho, Tan Yang, Ting Kai, Bryan, Zachary, and me. All came for one training. I think we should come for all trainings till NCOS ord, in fact even after that, till we ORD. But that would be too perfect and not quite possible, so achieve full attendance as much as we can, don't regret when we NCOs how much we've missed.
Today: Mr Leong's Last Day Teaching
Basically nothing much was significant except the period from 12.00pm to 12.40pm, the last forty minutes of Mr Leong teaching us. And he ended off very well I think. Give us back our oral assignment, praised Andre, ASKED US FOR OUR OPINION ON A MARK PENALTY FOR HANDING IN WORK LATE, which I doubt any other teacher would do. I think Mr Leong thinks a lot about how we feel about certain things, probably cos he is just 7 years older than us, and would somewhat understand life of students. I repeat too bad cannot vote him as Best Teacher otherwise he confirm own liaos lol. Anyway back to lessons. He gave us a last powerpoint, a powerpoint which I reckon he took some time to do. Summary of what we did from January 14th to today, as well as a biography of himself, a biography video of himself as well as his blog. Suddenly forty minutes seemed like a minute, contrary to the period after where we prepared for drama, which felt like 2 hours.
I feel quite bad la, when he started teaching us never pay attention, then now appreciate only when he's going. Everytime got comment its always positive and constructive, and I think my English has improved tremendously without realising it. I'm better at writing Scifi, Descriptive Writing, Answering Comprehension, Advertisement and all. I'm quite lucky to have him as a teacher though, even though its only for 4 months, nevertheless it was quite enriching.
Probably I'll put him somewhere in my blog, since seriously he's a nice teacher. Maybe the best teacher that I've ever met(Make English interesting leh).
K enough about him lol.
Tomorrow's Profi Test. The chance to see how zai our drills are after a year and four months, and I hope everybody can make it lar. At least try, if you cant come you can't try at all.

Lame tongue twister but hopefully its meaningful. Today I did 2 pull ups again. Although its very very very lag, at least finally there's some improvement.
Today school was quite usual, except I tyco get 36/50 for latest comprehension practice, as well as for IS practical get 0. This time really not kidding luh I'm dam bloody angry with myself too scared stone there end up screwed it instead of taking time to slowly see.

IS: A1(gg sooner or later)
Plus etc. etc., if my overall Term 2 msg below 3 I already should 偷笑. Eh wait stealing is bad so i should 哈哈大笑.
I think I talk too much and not do anything luh, though realise now a bit too late for term 2, term 3 confirm will do better de.
After school I go coro with TingKai, TanYang, and Kenneth See, we buy bubble Tee and we finished it quicklee. Lol rhymes-.- Then Tinky had a gd time niaoing my white specscial and me while I had a good time
And Tingky dam funny. Buy bubble tea he dunno wat he want, so he say "Same as the small guy". Lol. Later on got some other lame joke, cos TY stomachache then Tinky say can sh*t into the bubble tea and it looks like pearl-.-
Ok I have decided to change blogskin lol. Maybe find a nice one de cos according to Kenneth See this one is very loud, dunno what he means but its like the Samsung Loud very loud so must change to Tiet Ho's kind of phone very soft de.

Anyway, just something which Yong Xiang shared with me which I think is good to share with everybody.
Instead of a word of endure or jiayou, the best encouragement you can give, as well as the best self motivation, is to train up on your own and to not pull down the part.
That makes quite a lot of sense to me I think.
I must clear these two of my weaknesses:
Not being able to accept criticism straightaway(Will get angry, then finally get it)
PT Standards
I talk so much I think the time can be channeled to other areas such as training up, so I won't deny that I have not been training up enough bah, I need to work extra hard to save the respect Part As have for us. To save up what other part mates have been building up: standards and respect.
Oh ya random thng: My weight is just nice, Maung Thet I think almost underweight, cos he Cheng Guang" which is orange light so he is orange and light. Next time dun call me chinfats call me chinaverage, and call Maung Thet maothin? Nah dno.

Lunch time I ate food without given permission, cos my first time doing this kind of stuff so a bit lost and followed the rest. But nvm no excuse. And Tiet Ho also tour guide
